We are Megan and Evan, a young couple who moved to Chapel Hill for Megan’s PhD program and quickly put down roots. What started as a small backyard project to care for animals and raise fresh food for ourselves has grown into Yard Quail.

We raise small flocks of happy, healthy quail right at home with plenty of care and attention. Our quail give us fresh, flavorful eggs, and we are proud to share them with the wonderful community we love. Yard Quail is about keeping it local, keeping it fresh, and keeping it simple, from our backyard to your table.
