What do quail eggs taste like?

They taste very similar to chicken eggs but have a larger yolk, which means they are sometimes  a bit creamier than chicken eggs depending on how they are prepared.

How long do quail eggs last?

We don’t wash our eggs which means their bloom stays intact. Our eggs will last in the fridge for upwards of 3 months.

How do i crack open a quail egg?

Quail eggs have a strong membrane so they can’t be cracked open like chicken eggs. Use a serrated knife or quail scissors.

how do you store the eggs once they're hatched?

We collect eggs daily and they go right into the fridge unless they’re specifically designated for hatching.

what kind of quail do you have?

We raise jumbo coturnix quail with a few celadon mixed in.

Are your quail happy?

The happiest! They have plenty of space in their 6ft x 12ft coop and they love the sand floor we provide them. They also get plenty of enrichment. We truly enjoy raising them and try to provide the best possible environment for them to thrive.
